Konya False Assumption #1: That Hummer owners are not charitable.

Konya False Assumption #2: That people care to listen to the ingnorant ramblings of a disillusioned refugee with very poor language skills lacking basic skills of grammar who suffers deep seated psychosis.

Konya False Assumption #3: That people who graduate from Harvard or Yale are bad. I'll just ignore the immature and disgusting reference to Hitler.

Konya False Assumption #4: Equating being successful with being greedy.

Konya False Assumption #5: That Hummer owners do not have the slightest intention of going offroad.

Konya False Assumption #6: That he has any idea of what ALL Hummer owners want or desire.

Konya False Assumption #7: That American citizens do not find it offensive when someone immigrates to this country and then displays their gratitude for being allowed to escape the persecution of a communist country like Hungary by attacking the very society that provides them with safe-harbor. Perhaps, having grown up in Hungary, he was simply never taught the concepts of gratitude or good manners?

Konya False Assumption #8: Greedy bastards. Sexual perverts. Convicted child molesters. Gender confusion (penis/vagina comments).

Konya False Assumption #9: That Hummers are a rip off.

Konya False Assumption #10: That "Freedom of Speech" includes a license to abuse this freedom. That posting expletive filled messages on an open forum and displaying an utter lack of sensitivity for others is somehow cool, hip, or acceptable behavior.

I am truly saddened to see such a disgusting lack of ethical behavior from someone as lucky as this pathetic individual appears to be. He is fortunate that he (and his family?) was even allowed to enter this country and enjoy the many wonderful benefits that this country offers and that, he then, in an expression of his gratitude, finds it necessary to post vile and offensive messages condemning and vilifying people he has no personal knowledge of and have never done anything to hurt him.

I would suggest that perhaps the best way to deal with miserable creatures such as Andros Konya would be to simply ignore them. Treat the ridiculous utterances of this poor soul the same as one ignores public flatulance?

Giving these types of messages any importance or value just tends to encourage further socially unacceptable behavior and provides validation for an unvalidated existance.

I can think of much better ways. Unfortunatley as free as this nation is, my methods are still not recognized as "legal".

Wow, I can only say I think it's unfortunate and sad that someone so young has so much rage and can so blithely judge people about whom he knows nothing.

Andras, I genuinely hope that something in your life changes you fundamentally, or in the alternative, that you meet someone on the street who gives you what you deserve in return.

Well Andro-boy I hope you enjoy your stay in this country while it lasts. It is sad to say that your verbal aggression will likely have you experience death and deja-vu at the hands of your own mankind. I'm sure the gentlemen in the 3rd Ward would love to hear your thoughts about life. It is very sad that someone as intellectually gifted as yourself can not find constructive ways too better you own attitude towards your outlook on life and other people. Why not try enlightening those who can not enlighten themselves. Andros, you have been given the gift of intelligence and if you use it wisely, you will be capable of having the most enjoyable life you could ever imagine. Use it poorly and you will no doubt die a very sad and unhappy man. The choice is up to you. Arguing your point about things you have no power of changing leads me to believe you have a lot of pent up anger towards a past occurence. Learn to outlet your anger in forms of positive construction instead of total destruction. This path with lead nowhere, trust me....been there...done that.

Kelley....so much for the Mary Poppins approach Eek Eek

Let's see...we know what he looks like, where he goes to school...let's start taking odds and guessing timeframes. Here's mine:

Detonate, in the library, with a machette.. Wink

OR

Texas Red (who's delibertely staying quiet....smart!!!)....in the parking lot with some mud-terrains. Big Grin

OR

Hummer Man, over the phone, with incessant banter until the poor kids body reacts to preserve itself by shutting down the already feeble mind.

Either we'll never hear from him again, get an insincere apology...or he got detention today?

These words are abusive, disgusting and have absolutely no real basis to speak of. It's hateful, ridiculous and speaks volumes about the author. How can anyone take this guy seriously? I immediately discharged him as being a respectful person with something worthwhile to say.

People who yell and scream and come up with witty remarks tend to be heard, but certainly not listened to. Exactly like Wally George.

I've seen these types before. They're clever and certainly capable of coming across as intelligent....but in the end they're just funky beatnecks looking to stir the controversial pot and make some noise for themselves (to which they're addicted).

His article is full of bad information, bent truths and offensive conclusions for which he can neither support nor substantiate. It cracks me up though....he's got all those key words, touches on controversial elements and certainly fits the bill for the image he wishes to project.

These guys have no answers...only criticism and a big mouth. If they did come up with some great idea and solution....their own like kind would instantly rise up and condemn them in the same fashion and like manner.

Hey..maybe I'll get lucky and he'll condemn me as being the biggest something of them all?

Andkon....you don't know us...you just think you know us. We're a target-rich environment for you...so enjoy it while it last.

I've an idea for you...instead of running your mouth and masturbating your self-perpetuated ego...why don't you turn your intuitive and gifted powers to bear upon something that can really make a difference and actually do something with your time that may result in something productive: do some volunteer work for a charity, put in some time at a local shelter, get involved in your local gov't....perhaps you can eventually bridge the enormous gap between what you think the world is about and honest reality. All I see is a punk with a profane mouth, a vocabulary and a keyboard. You've yet to prove yourself otherwise.

While the article is quite vulgar, . I am not someone who stirs around crap. I make the website for my friends to look at and some other issues I feel strongly about. It wasnt me who spread the page to this site. At lunch one time we were talking about Hummers with a friend and how those people might feel insecure. Simple as that. To make them laugh, I made the page. While it has some basic truths to it, it has about as much value as say http://www.andkon.com/stuf/president/

Honest reality? Here's a stat for you. Unemployment is right below 6% yet a double digit amount of people are below the poverty line, which is underestimated to begin with. Gee? Could people be working 12 hours a day and still not have enough to live on? Yep, please read a book called Nickel and Dimed if you don't dare go into a lower income neighboorhood with your Hummer to find out for yourself.

It's a joke for the most part,

Konya False Assumption #2: That people care to listen to the ingnorant ramblings of a disillusioned refugee with very poor language skills lacking basic skills of grammar who suffers deep seated psychosis.

Don't play the quasi-racist card, thanks. I'm not a refugee. Very poor language skills? Perhaps I am IGNORATE.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #3: That people who graduate from Harvard or Yale are bad. I'll just ignore the immature and disgusting reference to Hitler.

Once again, a joke. It's sad that you can distinguish reality from a joke.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #4: Equating being successful with being greedy.

Where did I say this? Though it does have a basic truth to it. Your success is built on the failures of others, whether or not you acknowledge it.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #5: That Hummer owners do not have the slightest intention of going offroad.

It's like in the commercials with SUV's. I wouldn't trust one to make a sharp turn at a high speed. It's all about image, that's why the Hummer is overpriced.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #6: That he has any idea of what ALL Hummer owners want or desire.

Could you please quote me on this?

quote:
Konya False Assumption #7: That American citizens do not find it offensive when someone immigrates to this country and then displays their gratitude for being allowed to escape the persecution of a communist country like Hungary by attacking the very society that provides them with safe-harbor. Perhaps, having grown up in Hungary, he was simply never taught the concepts of gratitude or good manners?

I came after the fall of communism. This "America --- Leave it or Love it" attitude is actually quite anti-American. It's borderline censorship.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #8: Greedy bastards. Sexual perverts. Convicted child molesters. Gender confusion (penis/vagina comments).

Now this was the HUGE joke. The insults kept getting more outrages each time. The sexual pervert was near the end when I didnt even try to "prove" it. Please, the article is perhaps 95% vulgar humor and 5% facts.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #9: That Hummers are a rip off.

Yes, if the normal profit was applied to Hummers, it would cost a lot less. That's the wasteful part. Instead of spending say $10,000 extra because it's THE hummer, imagine all that money being put to better use.

quote:
Konya False Assumption #10: That "Freedom of Speech" includes a license to abuse this freedom. That posting expletive filled messages on an open forum and displaying an utter lack of sensitivity for others is somehow cool, hip, or acceptable behavior.

I am not trying to be cool. I didnt come here first. It was like "GEE WHAT A COOL SITE I HAVE, YOU PEOPLE SUCK." No, it was the other way around. I didnt ask for anyone's input in the article.

Once again, came after communism, INVITED here. But I do thank to be here. Helpful ideas, such as say my very basic tax plan would help America http://www.andkon.com/stuf/tax/ and perhaps even this: http://www.andkon.com/stuf/president/ CAUTION! The president one is a FULL JOKE. Don't get ANGRY over that either.

Miserable, now you are lowering yourself to the same level as I did in my article. Don't let it get to you THAT much.

Actually it doesn't matter either way. I didnt start this topic, I am simply defending the implied viewpoints in my article that you outraged people didnt get.

I bit my tongue until now, but I've had it with you. Why do you assume all of us come from money?

From my time here, I have met many many self-made men and women that, I get the idea, did not come from the lap of luxury.

For example: Me. I am 33 years old. When I was young, my family was so well off we had to grow our own vegetables and make our own clothes to get by while my mother and father worked those 12 hour days I am sure you have never seen. And they grew up in a time where you did not hire a "hunky" (NOT honkey) unless it was for a mill job. Actually, for my father, 12 hours was a light day, as he worked two jobs and went to night school so he could give us a better life and live the American Dream as the son of Slovak immigrants.

So don't give me that crap about going into lower income neighborhoods. And it's not just me. I get the feeling there are more than a few here who have scraped their way up from the bottom of the economic barrel.

All you have to offer is a stereotype of us. But stereotyping is okay when you're not the one being stereotyped, right?

I do not apologize for free speech. I don't care if I hurt you vulnerable feelings because you cannot understand that most of that is a joke.

While that's nice and offtopic and I dont care, most people are not self-made millionaires. There are very few people who say go from ghetto to millionaire status. You can go from middle class to upper class, though I talked to a Hummer owner who advocated tax cuts for the "middle class" since he works so hard... Hummer owner middle class? There seems to be a mistake in people's perceptions.

Here's another fact. The number of millionaires on the 20's who were self-made first generation rich was only 5%. People's perception that there is social mobility is mistaked. Sure it's better than most other countries, but certainly very much over estimated.

Things I can't change? Such as what? Over commercialization? Coercion to the point of absurdity? Yes, I do think I can change them, or at least in my environment. First step is exposing conflicts such as buying an already unneeded item that is artificially costing more than it should. It's just like the whole stock market pyramid game. Remember Yahoo! stock and how high it was? Enron perhaps, to get a bit more devious? Remember those damn annoying Furby's a few years back? Because morons were hooked on it, they'd spend $300 (though I heard more, thats the most I ever saw) on some crap that normally sells for about $20. That is stupidity. I first need to inform those who are responsible for gluttony of crap products: those who buy them.

If no one in here has learned anything, I am quite serious about my next point. I find it wasteful how Hummer owners probably spend a few ten thousands extra because it's THE Hummer. Sure one person not buying or spending as much on the Hummer is not going to make a difference, but how many Hummers have been sold? I could find thousands of other products to ramble about, but Hummers were the only things I could think of anything funny, at least to me, to say about.

Sure go away. But you have an unanswered question. How is it that there are millions of people who work and yet dont have enough to live on? I don't think that's fair at all. If you work, no matter what, you should still have enough to live on, whether you are a CEO or a trash picker.
